Congratulations to our HS Quiz Bowl team on winning 2 of their 3 matches last night! The Blazers defeated Covington-Douglas 90–80 and Garber 90–40. Way to go, Blazers!
Our PreK and Kindergarten students had a great time at the Major County Fair in Fairview last Friday! From meeting animals and exploring the OSU Insect Adventure to seeing their own artwork on display, it was a day full of learning and fun.
As Paxxton K. said, “We had the biggest, funnest, bestest day!”

Today, STUCO and Mr. Cook’s classes came together to present a 9/11 Remembrance Assembly, honoring the lives lost and all those impacted by the events of September 11, 2001.
STUCO Historian Jaxon Bensch, Vice President Kanton Crews, and President Gerardo Salas opened the assembly with speeches reflecting on the significance of the day and remembering those affected.
Their speeches were followed by a presentation created by Mr. Cook, Benjamin Garza, and Collin Franklin. The video linked below includes personal testimonies from Cimarron staff members sharing their memories and experiences from September 11, 2001.
Mr. Cook’s classes also created a remembrance wall honoring a portion of the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day.
We are proud of our students for helping ensure that we remember, reflect, and never forget.

Congratulations to our Junior High and High School softball and baseball players who were recognized for demonstrating empathy, our character trait for the month of August!
These students stepped up for one another and worked together to make sure Cimarron was represented throughout baseball and softball season. Their willingness to support their teammates is a great example of what it means to be a Blazer.

Today at the Cimarron Fall Classic, our Lady Blazers are wearing yellow ribbons in support of Coach Mack’s son and all those impacted by childhood cancer.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and today we wear yellow to show our support! 💛🎗️
