I am so excited!! Monday we will have all of our students in class every day!! 13 students: a bakers dozen!! We have 5 girls & 8 boys. We are having a wonderful year so far! The kiddos are learning a lot and enjoying making friends. Some of the skills we have been practicing include: counting to 10, colors, recognizing our name, sorting, rhyming, letter A sound /a/. 13 is our lucky number!
Welcome to Pre-K!! I am so excited to make the most of this super unique, crazy, definitely memorable, 2020-21 school year!
It is always important for Parents and School Officials to work together to provide the best learning possible for the kiddos we all love. This year that mutual support is going to be even more important than in the past!
I am here to love, encourage, and lead your child in building the strongest educational foundation possible. When in class, we will explore and discover the world through meaningful play, relationship building and direct instruction. When distance learning is necessary, I will do all I can to support my students' families as we work together to provide the best experience possible as we all navigate through this wild school year.
Please, reach out to me if I can help you in any way!!

The children have learned so much the past couple of weeks and I am so proud of them! We have been learning our new friends’ names, practicing classroom procedures and expectations.
This past week we began a Bee Unit. We are learning how bees have different jobs and work together to build a strong hive. The children seem to be understanding the correlation between the bees and how teamwork will make our classroom strong! We will also learn how bees pollinate to help plants grow. We have also been talking about how bees are necessary for much of the food we eat.
The children have become readers!! They have learned our first site words: I and can. They are becoming very excited about the prospect of reading! They have also been working hard to recognize all of the letters (graphemes) and know their sounds (phonemes).
There is so much to learn in our kinder"garden" and our little ones are begining to bloom!
